Kantan AVG Engine (Visual Novel Engine)
Inspired by Dialogic (Godot plugin) and the Ren'Py engine, made to be easy to pick up. You can see immediate results in just a few button presses.
The main feature being this timeline tray system with the ability to preview the game from any selected lines.
There are two versions of this engine:
Kantan AVG Engine: The more feature-oriented version. A little more advanced. Updated to version 0.999.
Super Kantan AVG Engine: Same as above but is simpler with less features. Designed for complete beginners.
Updated to version 1.0
NOTE: Unfortunately with windows 11 the executables will be detected as a threat much like with many others on itch. I haven't found a way around it and looking at other executables on itch, I don't think others managed too either. Downloading the zip package then extracting to your desired location is recommended.
Display character Lyra from @LouNaticy on X.

At the moment we only have the tech support discord and some short YouTube videos. Dedicated documentation under consideration.
so peak !
I started a project last week, and I'm starting up another! I will test out this and give you a good rating!
I HATE coding, and Renpy had a bunch of issues with sound and indentation and stuff. So if this is as it says it is, I'll be sure to link it in my projects!
First to comment here, this is the best app I have ever seen. It takes a lot of energy for me to code a full game, but this is a HUGE blessing for low-energy people. Definitely use this tool for a future project.
